The Critical Role of the Victim Advocate in the Journey from Victim to Survivor. This training will be presented by Christine Wolf, and it is part of MOVA's 2024 Victim Rights Month commemoration. Christine, the mother of a murder victim, can attest to the importance of victim advocates. In 1989, her teenage son was murdered by a stranger in Cambridge, just six years after the passage of the Massachusetts Victim Bill of Rights and creation of the Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance (MOVA).
